Working Principle

The belt magnetic separator uses a strong magnetic field to separate iron impurities from non-magnetic materials. The material is conveyed through the system and passes through a magnetic zone created by a powerful magnetic field. In this area, iron substances are attracted to the surface of the belt, while non-magnetic materials continue to pass through the equipment and are discharged. To maintain the efficient operation of the equipment, the belt magnetic separator is typically equipped with an automatic cleaning system. When a certain amount of iron impurities accumulates, the magnetic field is temporarily turned off, allowing the adsorbed iron impurities to automatically fall off and be removed through the cleaning system, ensuring stable and continuous operation of the equipment.
