Maintenance and Care Methods for Permanent Magnetic Separators
Lubrication Maintenance:
Regularly check and add lubricating oil to ensure proper lubrication of bearings and other moving parts.
Use clean lubricating oil and maintain good sealing to prevent dust and impurities from entering.
Routine Inspection:
Check all parts to ensure they function correctly, including rotating bearings, roller bearings, gears, and active bearings.
New wheel hubs may loosen easily, so they should be regularly inspected and tightened.
Monitor the wear of easily worn components and replace any parts that are worn out promptly.
Environment Cleanliness:
Remove dust and other debris from the frame base of moving parts to prevent severe accidents caused by foreign objects.
Regularly clean the surrounding environment to keep the equipment free from dust and maintain a clean operating space.
Motor Maintenance:
Regularly check the motor’s working current to ensure normal voltage and avoid overload operation.
Inspect for unusual sounds, vibrations, odors, and other anomalies in the motor, especially for loose grounding bolts, covers, or bearings.
Plan work schedules wisely to avoid prolonged continuous operation and prevent the motor from overheating.
Gear Reducer Maintenance:
After the initial 100 hours of operation, replace the lubricant; thereafter, replace it every six months.
Maintain the oil level in the middle of the viewing window and use E90 gear oil.
Additional Precautions:
Regularly check the discharge belt and power cords, replacing any damaged parts immediately.
Avoid opening the outlet box cover randomly to prevent insulation coil aging.
By following these methods, you can effectively extend the lifespan of your permanent magnetic separator, ensuring it operates stably and efficiently.
